How to remove the Ad Blocker and Advanced Filters
We advise not removing the protection system, as it would defeat the primary purpose of shielding the device against hackers and scammers and undermine other security features.
- Apple devices via Configuration Profiles
Select your device and then the operating system version to read the instructions.
iPhone, iPad, Mac
- Android 9 or higher
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Private DNS.
Select Private DNS provider hostname.
Enter dns.google as the hostname of the DNS provider.
Click Save.
- Windows 10
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Change Adapter Options.
Select the connection, and click Change Settings of this Connection or Properties.
Select Internet Protocol Version 4, and click Properties.
Choose the option Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically.
Click OK to save.
Select Internet Protocol Version 6, and click Properties.
Choose the option Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically.
Click OK to save, and click OK again.
- Windows 11 – Method 1
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings.
Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and View Additional Properties.
Next to DNS Server Assignment, click Edit.
Under Edit DNS Settings, click Manual and change it to Automatic (DHCP).
Click Save.
- Windows 11 – Method 2
Go to Settings > Network and Internet.
Select Wi-Fi and Hardware Properties, or select Ethernet.
Next to DNS Server Assignment, click Edit.
Under Edit DNS Settings, click Manual and change it to Automatic (DHCP).
Click Save.
